Handmade Zipper Wallet Pouch Tutorial | Card Slots, Zipper Pocket & Wrist Strap

 

In this post, I’ll share how to make a practical and elegant handmade zipper wallet pouch using a YKK 25cm zipper. Both the exterior and lining fabrics are cotton, making this project beginner-friendly while still producing a polished, professional finish.

For the exterior, I used a Korean traditional embroidery-style fabric, which gives the pouch a refined and timeless look. This design is not just a simple pouch — it functions beautifully as a daily wallet and also makes a thoughtful handmade gift.

Inside the wallet, there are three card slots to organize your essential cards and a zipper pocket for cash or receipts. Despite its compact appearance, the pouch offers generous storage space. I also added a wrist strap for easy carrying, and the size is large enough to fit a smartphone, making it perfect for quick outings or travel.
